Immediately following her graduation, she entered a rigorous, 1-year, rotating Small Animal Internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Copley, OH, where she fine-tuned her clinical and diagnostic skills. Her primary focal areas lie in internal medicine, endocrine diseases and client education, with interests in surgical disease management as well.
When not pursuing her professional career, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, “Skylar” and “Holsten”, and their 3-legged cat, “Lefty”, as well as outdoor recreational activities.
Dr. Young is happily seeing new clients, as well as our already established ones! Please feel free to stop in to meet her, scratch Lt. Dan under his chin, and make her feel welcome!
